About Us At Lighthouse Photography we strive to give personal attention to your needs and professional photography results you will be proud of. We use Canon equipment exclusive. Canon has a proven and reliable history. Canon’s track record of being durable and an industry leader in digital technology is unquestionable. We provide for all of your still photographic needs. We use several types of lenses and always maintain back up equipment with us at every event. We have a complete lighting arsenal and any backdrops that are needed to fulfill any situation you may require. Our dress code is designed to be a compliment to the event and not to be a distraction. We maintain a professional and yet approachable character. Everyone is unique and every age should be respected. We will use every means possible to create a memory that will last beyond your expectations. The most beautiful light is always that which is available light. We will strive to use that light to our advantage and to compliment each photo. Artificial light is always used second as either fill or to enhance a subject. We use artificial light as a compliment and not to distort the emotion of the moment. Even a “still†photographer must seek out the motion and energy and emotion in a moment that is trying to be captured. My Philosophy It is difficult to give a description of ones self without fearing that you may end up making yourself sound puffed up. A phrase I hear from previous clients is that they see compassion and emotion in my work. I like that. I do strive to capture that person you are inside and not what I am trying to make you. You should be who you are and I should strive to make that my goal in capturing you at this very moment in your life. I would say that my philosophy at Lighthouse Photography is simply to capture as much emotion and energy that I can from who you are. I want to be a blessing to you and your family and friends. I am not the only photographer in this world; and I am certainly not the best. Some would say that might sound like I don't have the confidence to be a qualified photographer for your special event. To me it simply means that I will always strive to be better today than I was yesterday. That way I will always be sensitive to your needs: Compassionate and Emotional. I will always give my best for your every need. Every photo should have energy and motion, emotion and a story. Even if it is setting still just being viewed in a quiet reflective moment. That is what "capturing" the moment is all about for me. |
